Lambtpn OPP officials allege: On May 17, 2021 at 11:50 a.m., members of the Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) attended a residence on Portland Street in Petrolia for a wellbeing check of the residents.
Officers located two deceased parties within the residence.
No cause of death has been determined.
Post-mortem examinations have been scheduled for May 18, 2021.
This is believed to be an isolated incident, with no threat to public safety.
The investigation is being conducted by the Lambton County Crime Unit, under the direction of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB).
