Armed robbery at BMO bank in Bothwell

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On Wednesday December 29, 2021 at approximately 1:30 p.m., two suspects, armed with a crowbar and a long gun, entered the BMO branch located at 181 Main Street in Bothwell.

The suspects were able to make off with a small quantity of cash.

One employee sustained a minor injury which did not require medical attention.

The suspects left the area in a red two door pick-up truck.

The suspects are described as follows:

– Suspect #1: White male, 6’2”, Approx. 200lbs., thin build, black mask, yellow hardhat, orange and yellow construction type jacket (high visibility), black worn out work boots, black pants.

– Suspect #2: White male, 6”, approx. 175lbs., thin, black mask, possible “skidoo” type, black jogging suit, white “worn out” shoes, possibly high tops.
