Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On Wednesday March 23rd, 2022, members of the Intelligence Section, with the assistance of the Critical Incident Response Team, executed two Controlled Drugs and Substances Act Search warrants in the city of Chatham.
As a result of the search over $1,170 in Fentanyl and Hydromorphone was located and seized.
Additionally, multiple sets of digital scales, ammunition and a large amount of Canadian Currency was also located and seized.
A 52-year-old Chatham man was arrested and charged with two counts of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, and 3 Counts of Fail to Comply with Conditions of Prohibition Order.
He has been released with a future court date of April 28th, 2022
A 45-year-old man, a 39-year-old man, A 36-year-old woman and a 31-year-old woman, all of Chatham, have been arrested and charged with two counts of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance.
The parties have been released on a Form 10 with a future court date of April 21, 2022
A 28-year-old Chatham woman has been charged with two Counts of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance and one Count of Fail to Comply with conditions of Undertaking.
She has been released on with a future court date of April 21, 2022.
