Police looking for the public’s assistance

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: The Chatham-Kent Police are looking for the public’s assistance with identifying these people regarding a theft investigation in Ridgetown:

Man arrested for bail violation

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On March 21, 2022 the man was released by the court with conditions.

One of those conditions was not to communicate with a woman.

On April 7, 2022 at approximately 11:00 p.m. the woman was walking on St. Clair Street in Chatham when she encountered the man.

The man attempted to engage in conversation with her.

Police located the 24-year-old Chatham man and arrested him for one count of failing to comply with his release order.

He was transported to police headquarters and held pending a bail hearing.
