Women from Wallaceburg and the surrounding area took the recent Parkhill tournament by storm once again last month, cashing in with their third tournament win in a row.
After finishing the round robin with a record of 2-1, the squad went on to play the home team of Parkhill in the finals.
Regular time didn’t solve anything, with the score remaining 0-0.
With Lisa Myers standing strong between the pipes, the team went on to remain scoreless in overtime.
Shootouts were next, where the team cashed in with two goals to take the shootout and capture the gold medal in the tournament.
