Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Shortly after 6 p.m. last night, police responded to a two-vehicle collision on Buckingham Road near Whitebread Line in St. Clair Township.
Through investigation, officers suspected the man was driving while under the influence of alcohol.
A roadside breath test was conducted, and the man failed.
The man was arrested and transported to police headquarters for further breath tests.
The 52-year-old Wallaceburg man has been charged with having a blood alcohol concentration exceeding the legal limit.
He was released pending a future court date of June 12, 2023.
Minor injuries were reported.
Total damage was estimated at $7,000.
