A fog advisory was issued in Chatham-Kent at 7:07 a.m.
“Near zero visibility in fog is expected or occurring,” Environment Canada officials say.
“Dense fog patches continue to affect portions of the region. The fog should dissipate within a few hours of sunrise. Visibility may be significantly and suddenly reduced to near zero. Travel is expected to be hazardous due to reduced visibility in some locations.”
