The Municipality of Chatham-Kent’s Economic Development Services is inviting job seekers to the upcoming Learning, Earning and LivingCK Career Expo and Job Fair at the John D. Bradley Convention Centre on October 18, 2023, from 3 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
“Connect with over 50 local Chatham-Kent employers who are actively hiring in in-demand industries,” Municipal officials say.
“This event offers local students, job-seekers and external job-seekers ways to engage local employers and community partners. ”
The following sections will be set up:
– Learning (Expo): An experiential, hands-on and interactive career pathway expo for CK students and local and external job-seekers
– Earning (Job Fair): A job fair to showcase CK employment opportunities to students as well as to internal and external job-seekers
– Living CK: Interactive lounge with digital storytelling to showcase the Chatham-Kent lifestyle to external job-seekers and students
“Explore diverse opportunities in healthcare, agriculture, manufacturing, construction, trades, and more,” organizers say.
