Jason and I just wanted to reach out to everyone now that I am on the mend and we have been able to reopen, to just thank everyone for their profound kindness during this entire experience. People have gone above and beyond what we could ever expect and this community means everything to us and our family. When I was a kid I couldn’t wait to “get out and never come back”. Such childhood arrogance! Now I cannot imagine raising my family anywhere else!
Firstly, thank you to every individual who donated to the go fund me, who reached out in so many various ways with prayers and well wishes. Every message meant so much to me and gave me such strength when I was at my worst!
And of course a huge thank you to all of the local businesses that contributed to the go fund me or did fundraisers for us and for all of the prayers and well wishes as well! I have honestly never heard of a community rallying together to help out their neighbour, their “competition”

A very huge personal thank you to Jammie at Southside Fitness. He sought me out to help me with my recovery. The use of the Vibragenix machine at southside fitness honestly turned my recovery completely around! I went from not being able to walk down my stairs and having to use wheelchairs or have others help me to walk, to being able to take care of my kids again and able to work in the restaurant and reopen! Your kindness and expertise has profoundly changed my life!! If anyone out there is open to using a new way to heal the body and soul, please go see Jammie at Southside Fitness! I can’t stress enough what this guy is doing in our community right now to help others!
