Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On April 1, 2024, police responded began a bail violation investigation after receiving information the man was not abiding by conditions in a release order.
Officers learned the man was prohibited from communicating with the woman but had left a threatening voice mail for her and then followed up with another call to someone associated to her.
On April 2, 2024, at 2:03 p.m. the 36-year-old Chatham man was located on McFarlane Avenue in Chatham and arrested.
He was transported to police headquarters where he was held pending a bail hearing.
He has been charged with uttering threats and failing to comply with a release order.
