Road resurfacing will begin on Grand Avenue West and Lacroix Street in Chatham on Monday, May 27 and is expected to be completed on Friday, June 14, weather pending, Municipal officials say.
The road segments that will be resurfaced are:
– Grand Avenue West from Keil Drive North to Churchill Street
– Lacroix Street from Grand Ave West to King Street West
“Grand Avenue West and Lacroix Street will remain open at all times and access will be maintained to all properties and businesses during construction, Municipal officials said in a media release.
“There may be temporary traffic disruptions as a result of this work and drivers are asked to be patient while driving through the construction zone and respect the safety of the workers. Bus stops on Route 1 will remain in service for the duration of the project.
