Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At 11:08 a.m., the man attended the Ontario Court of Justice on Grand Avenue West in Chatham.
The man was wanted on an outstanding warrant for bail violations.
The 52-year-old Wallaceburg man was arrested and held pending a bail hearing.
He is currently facing the following charges: failing to comply with a release order, unauthorized possession of a weapon, three counts of possession of a firearm/ammunition contrary to a prohibition order, and four counts of possession of a controlled substance.
