Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At 2:07 p.m., police attended an address on Harvey Street in Chatham with a tip a man wanted for arson was observed walking into the residence.
Officers attended and was provided access to the home. During a search officers located another man hiding in the attic. Further investigation confirmed that on August 19, 2024, the man had been arrested in a mischief investigation and released with a condition prohibiting him from attending that address.
The 34-year-old Windsor man was arrested and transported to police headquarters, where he was held pending a bail hearing. He is currently facing the following charges: mischief and failing to comply with an undertaking.
