Criminal harassment charges laid in Chatham

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On March 11, 2025, at approximately 7:28 p.m., a 50-year-old Chatham man was arrested by the Chatham-Kent Police Service in connection with Intimate Partner Violence (IPV).

The accused in this occurrence was charged with the following:

– Criminal Harassment CCC 264 (2)(a) – Repeatedly follow from place to place.

– Criminal Harassment CCC 264 (2)(c) – watching the dwelling, house, work, or any place the other person happens to be.

He was released with conditions and was given a future court date of April 14, 2025.
