Time is running out for Chatham-Kent residents to take advantage of an incredible opportunity to support vital imaging technology at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance (CKHA).
Until Monday, March 31, every donation made toward a new fluoroscopy machine will be tripled (up to $100,000)—thanks to the generosity of Bill and Mary Dorssers.
The “TRIPLE YOUR IMPACT” initiative launched on March 3rd, and the response from donors from across Chatham-Kent has been incredible. So many community members and organizations have stepped up to help bring this vital diagnostic tool to CKHA, following the lead set by the Dorssers family. This outpouring of support underscores our community’s long-standing commitment to strengthening local healthcare.
“This campaign has demonstrated just how deeply Chatham-Kent cares about bringing quality, accessible healthcare close to home,” said Christine Mitchell, President & CEO of the CKHA Foundation, in a media release.
“We have been truly inspired by the generosity that we’ve witnessed so far. With just days remaining to take advantage of this matching gift opportunity, we encourage everyone who hasn’t donated yet to do so on or before March 31st. Your gift will go three times as far in helping us ensure better, faster, and more accurate diagnostics for patients from across our community.”
Inspired by the Dorssers’ philanthropic leadership, several local service clubs have made a tremendous impact on this campaign, including the Knights of Columbus St. Joseph’s Council #10436, the Highgate and District Lions Club, the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #113 Dresden Ontario Ladies Auxiliary, the Kinsmen Club of Chatham, the Kiwanis Club of Ridgetown, the Knights of Columbus St. Ursula Council #9551, the Kinsmen Club of Merlin & District, the Lions Club of Wheatley, and the IODE Confederation Chapter – Ridgetown.
