OPP officials allege: A 45-year-old local resident has been charged with impaired driving following a single-vehicle crash in the early hours of June 21.
Ontario Provincial Police say officers were called around 4:50 a.m. after a vehicle left the roadway at the intersection of Army Camp Road and East Parkway Drive.
No injuries were reported.
Following an investigation, the Lambton Shores man was arrested and charged with impaired operation involving alcohol and drugs, as well as driving with a blood alcohol concentration over the legal limit.
The incident triggered a 90-day driver’s licence suspension and a mandatory seven-day vehicle impoundment. Fleet has been released and is scheduled to appear in Sarnia court on Aug. 18.
