Outstanding warrants executed in Chatham

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On March 3, 2025, at approximately 5 a.m., two individuals discovered a male inside an apartment complex on Dufferin Ave in Wallaceburg.

The male appeared to be under the influence. When asked to leave, he reacted aggressively, leading to a confrontation outside where he brandished a knife and threatened the individuals, stating he would harm them.

On April 5, 2025, the man was arrested on multiple unendorsed warrants.

During an inventory search at police headquarters, stolen property was found in his possession, including documents linked to a stolen vehicle.

Between April and July 2025, the man was required to attend court for various charges related to multiple investigations but failed to attend, resulting in warrants being issued.

On August 12, 2025, the 44-year-old Chatham-Kent man was located by CKPS Bail Compliance officers on Colborne Street and arrested. He was transported to police headquarters where he was held pending a bail hearing.
