Tilbury woman charged with impaired driving following rollover crash

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A 39-year-old Tilbury woman is facing impaired driving charges after a single-vehicle collision on Queens Line near McDougall Line Friday morning.

Chatham-Kent police say officers responded to the crash shortly after 9 a.m. on October 24, 2025. A vehicle had reportedly left the roadway and rolled several times before coming to rest in a field.

The driver sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment. Police say she also held a suspended driver’s licence.

After providing two breath samples, both registering over the legal limit, the woman was charged with operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration over 80, and driving while under suspension. She was released with a court date of November 13, 2025.
