The Brass Factory brings holiday swing to support Wallaceburg hospital campaign

The Brass Factory will bring festive swing and holiday cheer to the UAW Hall on Sunday, Nov. 30, 2025, at 2 p.m., in support of the Our Hospital, Our Future Wallaceburg Redevelopment Campaign.

The free concert, A Swingin’ Big Band Christmas, will feature performances by Al DeLaet, Jackie Faber and Midnight Syncopation, offering an afternoon of classic swing, holiday favourites and community celebration. Guests are invited to make a minimum donation of $20 to support redevelopment efforts at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance’s Wallaceburg site.

Founded decades ago by local musicians with a shared love of big band music, The Brass Factory has become a beloved part of Wallaceburg’s music scene—recognized both for their talent and their generosity toward local causes. The group has donated its time and performances to countless fundraisers over the years, continuing that tradition through this benefit concert.

The Wallaceburg Redevelopment Campaign, part of the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Foundation’s Our Hospital, Our Future initiative, is a $9 million-plus effort to modernize and expand hospital facilities. Planned improvements include larger patient and treatment rooms, enhanced accessibility and new state-of-the-art equipment to ensure high-quality healthcare remains available in Wallaceburg for years to come.

Doors open at 1:30 p.m. at the UAW Hall, located at 88 Elm Street. All are welcome to enjoy an afternoon of music, holiday spirit and community support.
