The Food Pantry at Knox Church will remain open to serve the community throughout the Christmas and New Year period, with a temporary change to its regular schedule.
The Pantry, which normally operates on Thursdays, will instead open on Wednesdays for two weeks only, on December 24 and December 31. Doors open at 10:30 a.m., and visitors are asked to bring their own bags.
According to information shared by the Pantry, dedicated volunteer staff arrange an assortment of free groceries that are available to anyone at no charge. After the holiday stretch, the Food Pantry will resume its regular Thursday programming.
Additional information about the Food Pantry is available through Knox Church in Wallaceburg.
