Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A 44-year-old Chatham-Kent man is facing a mischief charge following an incident at a residence on Harvey Street.
Police say officers responded Feb. 27 to a report of a break and enter in progress and found a door had been forced open, causing minor damage.
Through surveillance footage, the suspect was identified and arrested a short time later.
He was charged with mischief under $5,000 and later released with conditions and a future court date.
