Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A 36-year-old Windsor woman is facing charges following a break and enter and assault in Wallaceburg.
Police say officers responded April 6, 2026, at approximately 12:38 p.m. to a residence on Hilda Avenue.
Investigators say the accused forcibly entered through a basement window and assaulted a 22-year-old woman inside. The victim sustained minor injuries and did not require additional medical attention.
The accused was arrested and charged with break and enter with intent to commit an indictable offence and assault. She was released with conditions and a future court date.
