Motorists can expect delays at the Walpole Island First Nation bridge, provincial police say.
In an update posted at 4:54 p.m., the Ontario Provincial Police said traffic is backing up heading into Walpole Island.
“Motorists can expect a backup and delays at the Walpole Island First Nation Bridge heading into Walpole Island,” police said.
“At this time, the duration of the delay is unknown.”
Police said Walpole Island Police Service officers are on scene assisting with traffic flow and ensuring safety.
“There are no safety concerns. Please plan ahead and allow extra travel time.”
