Lambton Kent District School Board seeks public input on 2026-27 budget

The Lambton Kent District School Board is inviting parents, students, staff and community members to provide feedback as it develops its 2026-27 budget.

In a release issued Tuesday, the board said public input will help guide financial decisions and ensure they reflect the priorities and needs of the communities it serves.

“Our vision, ‘Our Students – Shaping Our World,’ and our mission, ‘Fostering Success for Every Student Every Day,’ guide every decision we make,” the board said in the release.

“As we plan how to allocate limited resources to support student achievement and well-being, your feedback plays an important role in shaping the year ahead.”

The board said the budget questionnaire will be open from May 26 to June 9.

“Your participation helps us make informed, student-centered decisions for the upcoming school year,” the release said.

The questionnaire is available through ThoughtExchange, here.
