A CH-147F Chinook helicopter from the Royal Canadian Air Force is scheduled to fly over Fergie Jenkins Field at Rotary Park in Chatham on Sunday in support of the Canadian Baseball League All-Star Game.
The flypast is expected to begin at approximately 2 p.m. on July 12.
The Royal Canadian Air Force said all flights are carefully planned and closely monitored, with operations dependent on weather and flying conditions.
The aircraft will operate at altitudes of no less than 500 feet above the highest obstacle along its route.
Residents in the area may notice unfamiliar aircraft noise during the flypast.
