Chatham-Kent police execute warrants, make several arrests

Chatham-Kent police executed several warrants and made a number of arrests throughout the municipality on Aug. 27, 2026.

At 7:59 a.m., a 24-year-old Chatham-Kent man was arrested on Grand Avenue in Chatham for failure to comply with a release order. He was taken to Chatham-Kent Police Service headquarters and held for bail.

At 9:10 a.m., a 39-year-old Chatham-Kent man was arrested on Park Avenue in Chatham on two counts of criminal harassment, one count of uttering threats to burn, destroy or damage property, and three counts of failing to comply with an undertaking. He was taken to headquarters and held for bail.

At 10:14 a.m., a 27-year-old Chatham man was arrested on Blythewood Avenue in Chatham on charges of dangerous operation causing bodily harm, failure to comply with a release order, four counts of operation while prohibited, and driving while suspended. He was released on a Form 10 with a future court date.

At 11:26 a.m., a 40-year-old Chatham woman was arrested on Park Street in Chatham on two counts of failing to attend court, along with break and enter, two counts of uttering threats, assault and mischief under $5,000. She was taken to headquarters and held for bail.

At 3:47 p.m., a 34-year-old Kitchener woman was arrested on Grand Avenue in Chatham for breach of recognizance. She was issued a Form 9 with a future court date.
