It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved dad, William Earl Houle, a resident of Port Lambton, on Friday, October 9, 2026 at the age of 75.
William was born in Chatham and was a son of the late Earl and Mary (Green) Houle.
Proud and cherished father of Keith (Michelle) Houle and Michelle (Dan) Sharrow.
Loving grandpa of Aidan, Harley, Addison, Mila and Jaylah.
Kind brother of MaryAnn (Russ) Leverton, Jack (Deb) Houle, Mike (Marg) Houle, Brian (Tracey) Houle and Jerry Houle. Predeceased by his brothers Greg Houle and Richard Houle and sister Joan Gustin.
Dad devoted his life to his family. His children and grandchildren meant the world to him. He was our protector, our mentor and our friend. He taught us the value of hard work and respect. He was a humble man with a kind heart yet he wasn’t afraid to tell you how it is. You could count on Dad for anything and in return he would ask for nothing.
Our hearts are broken, our lives forever changed, and although you are no longer here, your love will remain with us always.
Following his wishes, cremation will take place. The family will have a Celebration of his Life at a later date.
