A water main break on Walpole Island is causing some issues for some residents on the First Nation reserve.
Walpole Island officials said residents on Danshab Road, from River Road North, to Chiefs Road North, and Chiefs Road North to Eric Isaac’s and South to Tecumseh Road, may notice a decrease in water pressure until the problem is fixed.
A water main break took place on Friday, February 27 and crews are working on fixing the issue.
“We ask that you conserve water during this time,” Walpole Island officials posted on social media.
Officials said they anticipate the water will be shut off sometime on Saturday, February 28 in order for the repairs to be completed, once all the locates have been done in that area.
