LIFE! is back for its second year in Dresden.

Every Wednesday after school, St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church in Dresden opens its doors to elementary school-aged children from 3:45-5:30 p.m. It starts September 7.

This is a FREE program offering snack, games, crafts, music, life skills (cooking, building), prayer and a weekly life lesson from the Bible.

The program features retired teachers who provide FREE tutoring and homework help.

Pre-registration is recommended but not mandatory.

Children can take part in as many or few weeks as they like or are able.

The program is staffed by nine adult and two teen volunteers and is funded by the congregation and the Presbytery of Essex-Kent.

They are trained in first aid, CPR and operate under the Leading With Care guidelines of the Presbyterian Church in Canada, which includes police checks for adults.

If anyone needs more information, call Rev. Andy Cornell at 519-683-2442 or 226-229-1695.

People are welcome to show up in person and check out the program, but are being asked to call ahead.
