Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), under the direction of OPP Acting Detective Inspector Heidi Stewart from the Criminal Investigation Branch, is investigating the suspicious death of an adult female and an adult male.
The female victim was discovered in a private residence in the 5800 block of Arkona Road outside Watford around 9:00 p.m. on July 13, 2014.
The OPP investigation determined that the suspect had ties to the London area so OPP contacted the London Police Service for assistance.
London Police officers located the male victim at around 10:45 p.m. in a vehicle located in a parking area near Richmond Street and Queens Avenue in London.
An adult male suspect was taken into custody around 11:00 p.m. on July 13, 2014 by the London Police Service.
Lambton OPP is not searching for any further suspects as this is an isolated incident and there is no risk to the public.
Arkona Road is currently closed between Zion Line and Egremont Road and is expected to remain closed for several hours while the OPP investigation continues.
The investigation is in the early stages and further information will be released as it becomes available.
