With hockey season just around the corner and with the story we recently published about the new feature at the Wallaceburg and District Museum, we thought it would be a perfect time for this photo for Throwback Thursday.
My daughter Ava was getting prepared for a skating day a few years back, and there was never any doubt for where we were going to go to sharpen her skates: Frank Dymock’s Shop.
We had a great visit chatting with Frank for about an hour, listening to his old stories, wisdom and sense of humour.
It was a great experience and a great opportunity for me to teach my daughter about what it means to give back to your community.
