The proposed new owner of The Clubhouse at Baldoon is looking for the public’s help as they move forward with their new identity.
More specifically, they are looking for a new logo.
“We are looking to get a new logo and we wanted to open it up to the Sydenham Current readers to send one in,” said Melissa Gaylard, who has agreed to purchase the clubhouse portion of the former Baldoon Golf Club. “If we choose it, the winner will get a $250 gift card.”
Gaylard said she wanted to leave it open to artists in the community to use their creativity with the contest.

The sale of the Dufferin Avenue golf course is still pending council approval and the finalization of an environmental impact study.
While the golf course portion of the property is being proposed for agricultural land, Gaylard intends to continue operating the clubhouse portion of the property as a restaurant, catering and banquet facility under the name – The Clubhouse at Baldoon.
