Cy Field cooked his first ever batch of chili for the Legion cook-off back in 2010.
Despite the lack of experience, Field was voted as the winner.
Fast forward to 2015, and it appears that history has repeated itself.
Field was voted as the winner Saturday’s cook-off at the packed Wallaceburg Legion Br. 18.
Bill Pollock came in second, while Theresa Bechard was third.
The People’s choice winner was, Grace Harvey.
Organizers says it was was an excellent event, as the downstairs of the Legion was filled.
