A pig roast fundraiser has been planned for a local man and musician, who is battling an illness.
The event will be held for Tommy Hendry on Saturday, March 21st from 4 p.m. to 1 a.m. at the Moose Lodge in Wallaceburg.
Sally Wilson, the organizer of the event, said Hendry is a great family man and friend.
“He has been a big part of the local entertainment playing in Mackeson, and also the Neil Malcolm Band,” Wilson said.
“A wonderful guy with a big heart.”
The event will include an array of LIVE bands, including:
– Mackeson
– The Neil Malcolm Band
– Jack Doyles Kitchen Band
– Bushman
– Jay Allan
– The Overtones
– Plus others.
Tickets are $15 per person and available at Jack Doyles, Sarnia, the Moose Lodge, Wallaceburg or by calling 519-683-4009.
There will be door prizes, raffles, 50/50, toonie toss, and a silent auction.
Also, there is a reduced rate at the Days Inn in Wallaceburg if people mention they are attending the fundraiser.
Doors open at 4 p.m. with LIVE music beginning then, dinner will be at 6:30 p.m., draws to begin at 10:30 p.m. and people have to be present to win.
