The Walpole Island-Algonac Ferry is set to resume operations on Tuesday.
“Pending ice conditions, ferry service is scheduled to resume on Tuesday, March 31st,” read an announcement on their website.
The first boat is slated to leave the dock at Walpole Island at 6:20 a.m.
The service has been shut down this winter due to ice in the water.
The Walpole-Algonac Ferry has been in operation for over 100 years, crossing the St.Clair River from Walpole Island to Algonac, Michigan.
