The Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (R.O.P.E.) Squad is asking for the public’s help in locating a federal offender wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for breaching statutory release.
Mason Jenkins, 49, walked away from the Collins Bay Institution in Kingston on Sept. 24.
Jenkins is described as a Caucasian male, five feet nine inches (175 centimetres) tall and 255 pounds (116 kilograms), with brown eyes and brown hair, currently shaved bald.
Jenkins is serving a life sentence for first-degree murder and possession of a scheduled substance for the purpose of trafficking.
He is known to frequent Kingston, Kitchener and Chatham.
