The finals are set for the Chris’s No Frills Junior Star Search Singing Contest in Wallaceburg.
The final qualifying round was held at the CBD on Sunday, and the following six contestants will move on:
Junior Division (ages 11-14)

– Emma Pilon
Senior division (ages 15 to 18)
– April Lafrance
– Becca Hustwick
– Amanda McCaughrin
The six contestants who qualified last week, include:
Junior Division (ages 11-14)

– Jacklyn Wills
Senior division (ages 15 to 18)
– Lexi Banman
– Lucas Roe
– Mikayla Lozon
The contest is a singing/vocal competition, open to anyone 11-14 and 15 -18 years of age.
There are no restrictions as to music style, nor to amateur/professional status.
There’s no entry fee and no admission charge.
Cash prizes and trophies awarded to the top three in both age categories as determined by a panel of judges.
The finals are April 12 at 2 p.m. at the CBD.

Anyone can attend the final competition on April 12th. There’s no admission charge… but you’ll need to get there early. Seating is limited.
