Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is presently conducting an investigation into a single vehicle, motor vehicle collision which occurred on Sexton Road, just north of Zion Line, Warwick Township.
On Thursday July 8th, 2015, at approximately 4:25 p.m., Lambton OPP observed a motor vehicle traveling northbound on Sexton Road. A short time later this vehicle was involved in a single vehicle collision on Sexton Road. The lone driver of the vehicle was air lifted by air ambulance to hospital due to the resulting injury sustained.
The road surrounding the intersection of Sexton Road and Zion Line, Warwick Township, is closed and will remain closed for approximately 3 to 4 hours.
Officials say the OPP has notified the province’s Special Investigations Unit (SIU) which has invoked its mandate. As a result the OPP will not be able to provide any further information.
