The Oaks Retirement Village in Wallaceburg has some new owners.
Reports say a trio of businessmen, including local farmers Jean Marie Laprise and Dave Van Segbrook, as well as Richard Jaekel from Richmond Hill, have partnered up to purchase the facility.
Seasons Retirement Communities are the property managers.
Construction work for an additional 51 suites at the location is also underway, according to reports.
Oaks Retirement Village opened last year after a multi-million dollar facelift, which saw the facility transform from a restaurant, hotel and conference centre into a seniors residence.
