Drug bust in Wallaceburg

Yesterday, members of the Chatham-Kent Police Intelligence Section executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act Warrant at a residence on Dufferin Avenue in Wallaceburg.

Approximately $20,000 in cash, oxycodone and hydromorphone pills along drug paraphernalia was seized.

A 50-year-old man and 57-year-old woman were both arrested and charged with two counts of possession for the purposes of trafficking.

They were released with conditions pending a future court date of August 6, 2015.
