The Chatham-Kent Police Service Marine Unit, discovered an abandoned boat in a channel near Lake St. Clair.
Through investigation and confirmation with the St. Clair County Police in Michigan, it was determined that all the persons aboard the vessel were accounted for and safe.
Officers of the Marine Unit stood by until the owner of the vessel attended to retrieve the vessel.
