Poll results: Biggest Federal election issue?

The upcoming Federal election is coming up quick (Oct. 19), so we wanted to get some feedback from our readers about what they feel is the biggest issue this time around.

Here are the candidates running in Lambton-Kent-Middlesex:

– Bev Shipley – Progressive Conservatives

– Rex Isaac – New Democratic Party

– Ken Filson – Liberal

– Jim Johnston – Green

The candidates will be coming to Wallaceburg for a debate on Oct. 6.

The Wallaceburg and District Chamber of Commerce will be hosting the all-candidates forum at the Sydenham Curling Club from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The Chamber is encouraging people to send their questions to info@wallaceburgchamber.com or drop them off at the Chamber office, located at 152 Duncan St.

The biggest issue in this riding is to either vote for a well-known conservative politician who represents a PM who devalues vets,seniors, scientists, environmentalists, and public servants.etc…..the list goes on. Factor in the Senate scandal and our now involvement in a war without end…..or simply cast a vote for Anybody But Harper. I’m sure Mr. Shipley is a great guy……but I’m sure Stevie would throw him under the bus if he could garner a vote.
