Marcel Gustaf ‘Mike’ DeDobbeleer, a resident of Wallaceburg, died peacefully at the Chatham Hospital on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at the age of 91.
Marcel is the son of the late Arthur & Delphine (DeMole) DeDobbeleer. Beloved husband of Bessie Elizabeth Jean Sands/Babcock (2013) and Madeline (Jacques) (2005). Also predeceased by his beloved daughter Darlene Vicoli. Brother of Oscar DeDobbeleer of Windsor. He will be missed by his good friends Martin & Bonnie, Edgar and Rolande.
Mike was a trained needlepoint artist, working on tapestries in Europe before emigrating to Canada. He had retired from Libbey Glass.
Friends will be received at the HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg from 2 – 3 PM on Friday, November 20 with the funeral to follow at 3 PM. Interment in Riverview Cemetery.
