Rupert Lorenzo Jacobs, a resident of Walpole Island First Nation, died suddenly at Four Counties Hospital on Thursday, December 31, 2015 at the age of 52.
Rupert is the son of the late Harold Sr. & Barbara (Soney) Jacobs. Loved brother of Lucy Jacobs (Jim), Roger Jacobs, Harold Jacobs Jr. (Glenna), Norma Altiman, Darrel Jacobs Sr., Keith Jacobs, Suzette Sands (Ronald) and the late Oriole Smith (Hector) and Ronda Jacobs (Roland). He will be missed by his many nieces & nephews.
The family will receive relatives and friends at Rupert’s home, 193B Tecumseh Rd, Walpole Island, from Sunday evening until the funeral at the Walpole Island Sports Complex on Tuesday, January 5 at 11 AM. Interment to follow at Highbanks Cemetery. HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg entrusted with funeral arrangements.
