ARNEW: Shelley Christine (nee Salisbury) –
A resident of Chatham, Shelley Arnew passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham Campus with her family at her side on Thursday, February 11, 2016 at the age of 56.
Born in Chatham, Shelley was the daughter of the late Jack Salisbury and Melba (late Doug) Corbin( nee McLean) of Chatham.
Beloved wife of 38 years to Dave Arnew.
Loving mother of Jason Arnew of Chatham, Jerade Arnew (Jen Van Dyk) of Bothwell and Jessica Pough (A.J.) of Chatham.
Proud grandmother of Madison Bell-Arnew, Jayden Arnew and Darius Benoit-Pough.
Dear sister to Blake Salisbury of Bothwell and Jerry Salisbury (Gloria) of Florence.
Also missed by nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.
Shelley was an avid motorcyclist. She enjoyed her time camping out at the trailer in Port Glasgow. Shelley enjoyed working with the people at Daymond Aluminum for many years.
Family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Saturday from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 14, 2016. Cremation to follow.
