Drunk in public charge laid in Wallaceburg

A drunk in public charge has been laid in Wallaceburg.

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials say on April 23rd, at approximately 6 p.m., officers attended an address in Wallaceburg in regards to a Liquor Licence Act complaint.

Upon arrival police located a man passed out drunk in the hallway of his apartment complex.

Police arrested this man for being intoxicated in a common area, he was transported to Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters where he was held until sober.

The man was also issued a Provincial Offence Notice for being intoxicated in a common area.
