Wallaceburg man clocked driving 151 km/h

A Wallaceburg man won’t be driving for a week after being caught speeding by the Chatham-Kent Police Service.

Police officials say yesterday morning around 11:30 a.m. members of the Traffic Unit observed a vehicle travelling on Bearline Road at a high rate of speed.

Police allege that the vehicle was recorded going 151 km/hr in a posted 80 km/hr zone.

The 59-year-old Wallaceburg man was charged with stunt driving.

His licence was suspended for seven days and his vehicle was impounded for seven as per the Vehicle Impoundment Program.
