The Wallaceburg Optimists have donated $1,500 to go towards the annual Wallaceburg Fireworks Festival.
Representatives from both groups met at Homeward Realty in Wallaceburg on Wednesday for a cheque presentation.
The Optimists raised the funds through a recent quarter auction held in Wallaceburg.
The Wallaceburg Fireworks Festival will be held on Canada Day, July 1 once again this year.
The group also has an upcoming Facebook auction, which will run from June 20-22.
Items will start appearing on their Facebook, starting next week.
