Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A missing person was safely located on July 9, 2025, thanks to the swift support and involvement of the public, the Chatham-Kent Police Service said Wednesday.
Shortly after CKPS shared the individual’s information on social media, the post reached more than 92,000 views and prompted an outpouring of concern and assistance from the community.
Supportive messages such as “Windsor and Leamington area friends please help him home, PLEASE” and “Please keep an eye out” highlighted the community’s compassion.
Police extended their thanks to everyone who shared the post, commented, or helped raise awareness.
“Your efforts made a meaningful difference and directly contributed to a positive outcome,” CKPS said.
