Capped off by a nearly hour-long fireworks display, the Wallaceburg Fireworks Family Festival was literally a blast for the community.
“Great day yesterday in Wallaceburg,” said Kristyna Roocroft, one of the event organizers.
“Hope you all enjoyed all the free kids stuff right up until the large display of fireworks. All in all it was a great day all around.”

The festivities included kid’s activities, bouncy castles, face painting, a petting zoo and a pie eating contest as well.
